Infantry, armor, aircraft and naval combat belong on the same battlefield. OpenBF is bringing those systems together again, while working toward the behavior and flexibility of the original engine.
Original Battlefield 1942 and Desert Combat content are active compatibility targets. Support is still being developed and tested; not every map, mod or feature is complete.
Bring your own game files. OpenBF does not distribute Battlefield 1942, expansion or mod assets.
